Der er nu åbnet mulighed for, at brugere kan tilføje stednavne, som man falder over i sin forskning.
Det kan også være alternative stavemåder for et stednavn, der allerede findes i basen.
Stednavne kan kun tilføjes, hvis man kender både sogn og herred.
Der er ikke ressourcer til nogen efterfølgende kontrol af det indtastede, så der er behov for
stor selvdiciplin.
Grundreglen må være:
"Er du i tvivl, så lad være!"
(De indtastede navne vil naturligvis bliver markeret, så de senere kan fjernes, hvis de er
åbenlyst forkerte.)

It is now possible for users to add to the database new place names, which they discover during
their research.
It can also be alternate spellings of a place name, already contained in the database.
Place names, however, can only be added if both parish (sogn) and shire (herred) are known.
There are no resources for an additional check of names, which the users add to the database.
For this reasons there is a need for maximum self discipline. The guideline must be,
"If you aren't sure, don't."
If you are not too familiar with Danish geography or language, but still feel you have a valuable
contribution for the database, it is recommended to check with the discussion group
dk.videnskab.historie.genealogi. (Although a Danish group, English is accepted)
Place names added by the users are, of course, marked, so they can easily be deleted when we
later find any false.
